Born in 1954 in Owensboro, Kentucky, Alan D. Jeffrey has spent most of his life in Louisville before moving with his wife, Kelli, to Shepherdsville to enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. With a blend of peace and God’s creation, he was able to reflect, write, and grow in faith.
In 1982, Alan was called into the Catholic Church, which was a very important time for him spiritually. In the late 1980s, he started creating Christmas songs that were both funny and meaningful. What began as playful Santa “rap” performances evolved into meaningful works he shared with family for years.
His grandchildren later inspired him to turn those songs into books. Alan has also remained active in charitable efforts, including the Angel Tree tradition and supporting food drives. His life’s goal is simple: to spread faith, joy, and kindness, and to remind people that the genuine spirit of Christmas is in all of us.
